A company called Rothstein Capital & Partners is contacting people who have been scammed into buying carbon credits or other near-worthless investments. The company claims that it can offer an exit strategy. Of course, Rothstein Capital & Partners wants an advance fee. And of course, it’s a scam.

Last week, the World Bank and the Kenyan Government held a meeting aimed at finding a positive way forward following years of evictions of indigenous people living in the Embobut Forest in the Cherangany Hills. Days before the meeting started, 30 Sengwer houses were burned.
Protest in Brazil prevents approval of genetically engineered eucalytpus trees
Last week, 300 peasants from Brazil’s Landless Workers’ Movement (MST) occupied a meeting of the National Technical Biosafety Commission (CTNBio) and prevented a vote on the release of genetically engineered eucalyptus trees.
