Carbon, crime and impunity in Indonesia’s plantation sector

Here, if anywhere, we should see the evidence of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s recent statement that “Indonesia has reversed course by committing to sustainable forestry.” Unfortunately, the evidence points to business as usual.
