On 12 July 2016, an application was commenced in Australia for the winding up of Conservation Central Network. A court hearing took place in the Federal Court in New South Wales on 12 August 2016, and on 22 August 2016 a court order to wind up the company and appoint a liquidator was issued.
Eco Business Management, a company that sold carbon credits to the public as investments, has been closed down in the High Court in London for misleading potential investors. REDD-Monitor wrote about Eco Business Management in October 2014.
Windward Capital Ltd sold carbon credits to the public as an investment. Earlier this month, it was ordered into liquidation in the High Court for duping investors with false and misleading claims. Two related companies, Met-X Corp. Ltd and Imarc Ltd, were also closed down.
Kendrick Zale used to sell carbon credits to retail investors. On 16 July 2014, in the High Court in London, the company was wound up in the public interest for making false claims about investment returns.
The High Court in London has ordered Diffraction Limited into liquidation following an investigation by the Insolvency Service. Diffraction Limited is another part of the web of companies around Eco-Synergies.
