Down to Earth has released an Indonesian language book as a special edition to mark the organisation’s 20th birthday. The book consists of 12 articles related to climate change from the Down to Earth newsletter and the topics covered range from climate change developments and policies at national and international level to Indigenous Peoples’ rights and climate justice.

The publication is titled “Keadilan Iklim Dan Penghidupan Yang Berkelanjutan” and can be downloaded here (pdf file 1.0 MB).

English language versions of the articles are available on Down to Earth’s website. Down to Earth has produced several articles relevant to REDD in Indonesia, including the following:

  • “The pressure for REDD“, Down to Earth No.79, November 2008
  • “Debates around REDD, indigenous rights and control over funding“, Down to Earth No.76-77, May 2008
  • “Peatlands and climate change“, Down to Earth No.75, November 2007

Here’s the Introduction to the book in Bahasa Indonesian:

PENGANTAR
